About me

I have always had a strong passion for fitness and wellbeing. I participated in a variety of sports from a young age including rowing, rugby, and athletics however unfortunately suffered a long-term recurring back injury during my early college years. Having gone through and understanding the frustration of trying to return from injury and the various hurdles that inevitably come along the way, led me to want to pursue a career in helping others in similar situations. This path then took me to initially qualifying in Sports Therapy before progressing on to graduate as a Physiotherapist.

Expertise

Connor’s treatment approach includes manual therapy techniques that focus on freeing up and increasing range of motion and improving the general well-being of individual clients, and combining these with strengthening strategies to promote long-term physical changes.

Experience

Connor has worked at Balanced since 2018, offering sports and deep tissue massage initially before completing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2024. During his time at Balanced, Connor has treated clients of all ages and with a range of injuries which has enabled him to gain extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries whether they are sports, hobby, or work related. Since 2019, Connor has also provided pitch-side first aid and physiotherapy with young rugby and hockey athletes and has experience dealing with acute sporting injuries.

Life outside work

When not working you’ll find me keeping active by going out running or in the gym, having some down time catching up with friends, or reading a good book.

My favourite thing

Watching sport (whether it be live or from the sofa), with a particular interest in Formula 1.
