Eilidh began working with us in January 2014 as a receptionist before progressing to become a massage therapist after gaining her ITEC Level 3 Sports massage qualification in June 2015. Eilidh graduated with a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science; Sports injuries in July 2016 and is currently half way through studying her MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University.
Eilidh has a background in gymnastics and has provided both Edinburgh University’s rugby team and Royal High School’s rugby team with pitch side first aid. Her involvement in sport has given her a keen interest in sports injuries however she treats a wide variety of clients with varying complaints. Eilidh tailors each massage to the individuals needs providing home exercises and advice to ensure you experience the lasting benefits of your massage.
Eilidh offers sports/ deep tissue massage using trigger point release and MET’s or a relaxing massage aiming to destress the body. She also has qualifications in Kinesiology taping, dry needling and holds her level 1 in mat work Pilates with APPI and will incorporate these skills into your treatment as needed.
When Eilidh is not working with us or studying she enjoys going to the gym or enjoying some well-earned down time.
