About me
I have always been passionate about physical activity and how the human body works. This initially drove me towards a career supporting athletes in professional sport, where I was able to work with a wide range of disciplines. It was during this time that I developed a strong interest in rehabilitation, recognizing that I could make a greater impact on those individuals I supported by helping them navigate some of the most challenging times any sportsperson can experience: injury.
I enjoy the problem-solving process of identifying the causes of pain or restriction, as well as adapting my treatment to suit each patient’s context and helping guide them back to the activities they enjoy.
He worked for several years at Partick Thistle FC before moving on to join the Sportscotland Institute of Sport, a role where he mainly worked with Boxing Scotland’s national senior squad while he also contributed to governing bodies such as Scottish Hockey, Snowsport Scotland, RYA Scotland or Scottish Rowing. Additionally, he has also held contractor roles working across the Scottish Rugby Academy male and female pathways.
