About me
I believe health is the level of one’s ability to self-manage and not simply be absent of disease and injury. This comes through the quality of our relationships and the belief in our ability to control our lives. My own health regarding the confidence I carry and the relationships I’ve made through living an active lifestyle is something I feel everyone should have the opportunity to seize. A good physio helps others seek and build these attributes through activity, and from my own passions in movement and teaching, I can’t imagine anything else I’m better suited for.
My mission is to facilitate health through movement, which I believe I can do best with a great team that supports and values each other’s strengths.
Through immersing himself in many creative and extreme sporting avenues, from professional street dance to weightlifting and acrobatics. Connors diverse aptitude for extreme activities allows him to creatively tailor your rehab specifically towards your goals whilst still applying optimal biomechanics and evidenced based recovery.
Alongside common sports, Connor has personal and practical experience in managing the return to a wide range of activities including Gymnastics, Trampolining, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Crossfit, Snowboarding, skiing, BMXing, Diving, Freerunning, Dancing.

Experience
After Connors Master’s degree he practiced in the NHS for over 2 years where he completed all core physiotherapy rotations including medical & orthopaedic wards, community, and musculoskeletal services in adults and paediatrics. During his time in orthopaedics, his team achieved the Scottish Golden Hip award. He also cherishes the impact his community classes had on people with respiratory and cardiac conditions. Connor’s competence in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions secured him a specialist title. His passion for teaching has supported many physio students and led to the provision of regular workshops and CPD training in his expert areas including strength and conditioning and enhanced surgical recoveries. His strong initiative led to creating and leading classes for common musculoskeletal injuries such as the “Back on Track” & “Reach Recovery” within NHS Grampian. Connor sought to work with Balanced to advance and support his interest and passion in sports rehab and person centred care.Life outside work
