About me
I started Pilates 20 years ago, attracted to a highly effective discipline of movement to build strength from within and its symbiosis with my background in dance training.
I moved on from years in business marketing, brand creation and PR after I developed a persistent sore back from bad posture. In my fifties I decided to retrain as a Pilates coach as I felt this was a natural progression to return to a discipline based on effective principles of movement - it also meant I could share my knowledge and help others to move better and with ease, building confidence and remain strong for life.
My deeper understanding of Pilates discipline enables me to develop an adaptive teaching style and from feedback received - my participants find my classes, therapeutic, calming, clear, helpful.
It’s wonderful to watch clients become stronger and experience the unique sense of rejuvenation that comes with Pilates practice. As a teacher I love seeing people commit to something I am passionate about too.
I find teaching pilates incredibly rewarding every time I see clients witness the difference it makes to how they move - I take enormous pleasure in my role.
