About me

I was drawn to becoming a Physiotherapist through my love of movement, curiosity about the human body and a passion for helping people move and live better in theirs. I thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team, collaborating with my clients and colleagues to achieve goals brings me a lot of satisfaction and joy! I am excited to be part of an era where health and wellbeing consciousness is at the forefront of society’s mind. I want to build on this momentum by using my knowledge and skills to empower people to better understand their bodies, embrace movement and strive for more.

Expertise

Georgia specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, focusing on active rehabilitation and injury prevention. She uses an individualised approach and tailors her skills in Clinical Pilates, strength training and manual techniques to achieve positive outcomes for a wide range of clients, addressing acute pain, chronic pain, sports-related injuries and over-use injuries.

Experience

Georgia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Adelaide, Australia in 2021. She commenced her career in 2022 in the South Coast, Fleurieu Peninsula, at a private practice. Her two and a half years here gave her the opportunity to work with a variety of presentations and populations, including; musculoskeletal and sport injury, clinical pilates, pre/post-operative orthopaedic, chronic pain, strength and conditioning for injury prevention, paediatrics, hydrotherapy and more. Georgia then relocated to metropolitan Adelaide and commenced work in the Emergency Department at Flinders Medical Centre. Here, Georgia was exposed to a new patient population and presentations, including trauma, BPPV/vertigo, stroke, fractures/breaks, respiratory conditions, surgical patients and more. This diverse range of experiences has equipped Georgia with a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of patient care across different settings, enabling her to provide compassionate and effective treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.
