About me
Jamie is an active, and often injured, youngster he was naturally drawn to a career in physiotherapy and has been fortunate to spend the majority of his career working with professional sports teams and individual athletes.
As a keen runner and competitive triathlete, Jamie has a detailed understanding of the physical demands of return to sport and high performance as well as injury prevention strategies.

Expertise
Jamie’s expertise lies in the diagnosis, treatment, management and rehabilitation of sporting injuries, particularly to the knee and ankle. However, given his experience in contact sport he also has a wealth of experience managing shoulder and upper limb injuries.Experience
After qualifying in 2009, Jamie has spent the last twelve years of his career working in professional rugby union and his current role is the lead rehabilitation physiotherapist with Edinburgh Rugby. He has worked extensively with both male and female senior national and age-grade programmes which gives him a unique insight into the demands of working with injured elite athletes. A keen interest in sports rehabilitation has led Jamie to specialise in this area where he excels in the management of ACL knee injuries and various other lower limb musculoskeletal injuriesLife outside work
