About me

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to help a patient move more easily or with less pain. I really enjoy the process of getting to the end goal and the relationships I make with all involved along the way. Correct alignment & movement is always at the centre of my treatments & goals.

Expertise

Lisa has over 25years of experience in treating a large variety of injuries & conditions. She has specialised over the years in rehabilitation of acute & chronic musculoskeletal injuries from post op to return to full function or competitive sport. Along with her Pilates teaching, Lisa can enhance her Physio treatment & exercise sessions. Lisa has helped Sports people from recreational to elite & makes sure all patients including those who have a very limited ability are helped to reach their full potential. Lisa provides back care pilates sessions & she is always keen to add her Physio expertise to these sessions.

Experience

Previous Senior positions in Orthopaedic Outpatient Departments, Edinburgh Rugby, Sports Clinics and previous teaching role for Physios within the ACPSEM and now has her own Private Practice. Focus of Professional development is on movement control along with pain management.
Lisa volunteers at her local RDA Group.

Life outside work

I am married & have 2 grown up girls who keep me busy travelling around the country with them & their horses. I live in the Borders, where I love to enjoy the countryside with my friends. I also love my garden & lose many hours there with my dog.

My favourite thing

My favourite time is a long Sunday lunch with family or friends.
