About me

I am excited to share my passion for Pilates. I believes Pilates can benefit all bodies and levels of fitness and that this system of exercise builds a level of functional, full body strength that’s truly unique.

Whether you are new to Pilates looking to learn the fundamentals, or a more experienced student looking for a challenge, my classes can be tailored to suit all bodies and levels of experience. My teaching style is clear and engaging and my classes have a strong focus on precision of movement and progressive flow.

Expertise

Meghan has studied and taught in both Canada and the UK and has worked at Balanced Edinburgh since 2018. In addition to group Mat and Reformer classes, she also works with many clients on a 1:1 basis introducing them to the Pilates method, guiding them through injury rehabilitation, and helping them build strength, mobility and confidence.

Experience

Meghan has previously worked in veterinary medicine and marketing. Having practised Pilates for over 15 years, she became a certified instructor in 2016. She moved from Toronto, Canada to the UK in 2018 and has been teaching Pilates here full time since then.

Life outside work

In addition to Pilates, I love hiking, swimming, cycling and strength training. I also love travelling and sailboats and am looking forward to combining the two again soon.
