About me

I became a massage therapist because I believe in the transformative power of touch and holistic healing. I’m driven to empower others to tap into their inner wisdom, using their body’s natural intelligence to foster strength, health, and authenticity.
For me, the therapy process is a holistic journey integrating mind, body, and spirit, with deep relaxation as the foundation for healing. I believe true wellness goes beyond relieving symptoms—it’s about helping people thrive and embrace their authentic selves. My passion is creating intuitive, compassionate experiences, blending techniques like deep tissue, reflexology, and myofascial release to address physical tension, mental clutter, emotional blockages, and energetic stagnation.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen as whole individuals, encouraging self-discovery, clarity, and vitality through personalised, mindfulness-infused care.

Experience

Romas a skilled massage therapist, has a diverse career in holistic and therapeutic massage. At various luxury Spa’s and Foot Massage Spa in Edinburgh’s Haymarket, he delivered treatments and specialised in traditional Asian-style foot massage, reflexology, Tuina-inspired body massage, and facial gym massage, serving international clients seeking relief from physical conditions. He pursues continuous professional development to ensure exceptional client experiences.
As a freelance and student therapist in London and Edinburgh, Romas trained at NLSSM and SHT massage schools, logging over 50 hours of treatments and 10 hours of received treatments. His sessions included full-body massage, targeted treatments, and techniques like muscle energy techniques (MET), soft tissue release (STR), and myofascial release, building a strong foundation through case studies.
At Waverly Care Milestone Residential Support Centre in Edinburgh, Romas provided four hours of supervised treatments for clients with complex conditions, such as an L2 spine fracture and COPD with chronic pain, prioritizing safe, tailored care.
As a volunteer for Young Lives vs Cancer at the 2021 London Marathon, Romas completed six hours of post-event massage, using effleurage to calm the nervous system, petrissage to ease tension, compressions for blood flow, and gentle hip mobilization.
Romas’s career reflects dedication to professional growth, compassionate care, and impactful charity work, driven by his holistic approach to healing.

Life outside work

Outside of work, I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a practice that sharpens my awareness of body mechanics and deepens the intuitive touch I bring to massage therapy. I find grounding in nature walks, rhythm in shamanic drumming, and comfort in quiet moments curled up with my two cats.

My favourite thing

My favorite moments are lighting a beach fire, grilling delicious food, and watching vibrant sunsets with friends.
